New outages reported across several Ukrainian oblasts following Russian attacks

New electricity outages have been recorded in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts as of the morning of 8 June due to Russian attacks.

Details: Where the security situation permits, energy workers have already begun emergency repair work and are returning damaged equipment to operation.

Ukrenergo advises shifting active electricity consumption to the period between 10:00 and 16:00, when industrial solar power plants operate at peak efficiency.

In the evening, between 18:00 and 22:00, consumers are asked to limit the use of high-powered appliances.

  • A Russian attack damaged an energy facility in Odesa Oblast, leaving over 1,000 households temporarily without electricity.
  • On the night of 7-8 June, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using 155 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas attack drones, Banderol loitering munitions and Parodiya decoy drones.
