Three in serious condition after Russian drone attacks on Sumy Oblast

Russian drones attacked cars and civilians in several hromadas in Sumy Oblast on 8 June, leaving three people in a serious condition. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: A Russian drone hit a car in the Hlukhiv hromada. Four people were taken to hospital. One of those injured, a 51-year-old man, is in a serious condition.

A 56-year-old man was also seriously injured in the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi hromada as a result of a Russian drone attack.

In addition, a 41-year-old woman injured in a strike on the town of Konotop remains in a serious condition.

Quote: "All those injured are receiving the necessary specialised medical treatment. We wish them the quickest possible recovery."

Background: Five people, including three children, were injured when a Russian drone struck a residential area in Konotop in Sumy Oblast late on 4 June.
