Zelenskyy: Russia has launched over 3,500 attack drones and guided bombs on Ukraine over week – video

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported that Russian forces launched almost 2,000 attack drones on Ukraine over the past week.

Details: In addition to 1,920 attack drones, Russia launched 1,790 guided aerial bombs and 17 missiles.

Quote: "We need to step up our countermeasures against these attacks. We are preparing for meetings with our partners to strengthen our defence against this Russian terror. The G7, EU and NATO summits are ahead. And it is very important that these negotiations result in concrete decisions. We expect meaningful meetings with our partners."

More details: Zelenskyy emphasised that Ukraine needs support in air defence and long-range capabilities.

Background: On the night of 13-14 June, Russia attacked Ukraine with 98 UAVs of various types.
