Details: The town was attacked by 23 Shahed drones. In addition to the destroyed petrol stations, many other buildings were damaged. There were no fatalities among the civilian population, but four people were injured.

The authorities are considering the possibility of deploying mobile filling stations in the town, Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration, told Ukrainian public broadcaster hromadske.

He predicted certain fuel supply difficulties but stressed that the region has reserves to handle blackouts and other emergencies, ensuring that all essential services can continue operating.

Inspections of the damaged stations are currently underway, and repair timelines are being determined jointly by the head of the hromada and the petrol station owners. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
