Russians intensify guided bomb strikes on outskirts of Sumy

Sumy Oblast Military Administration has reported an increase in guided aerial bomb strikes on the outskirts of Sumy. Overall, 10 civilians were injured in Russian attacks over the past day.

Quote: "Since last night and throughout the day, the Russians have been attacking hromadas in Sumy Oblast. Ten civilians have been injured as a result of the strikes.

In recent days, we have recorded an increase in the intensity of guided aerial bomb strikes on the outskirts of Sumy." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Hryhorov noted that drone attacks on hromadas across Sumy Oblast have also continued.

At about 16:00 in Sumy, a civilian man was killed in a guided aerial bomb strike on the outskirts of the city.

Five other people were injured.

A woman and her 3-year-old child also sought medical assistance. During the explosion, the mother shielded the child with her body, and the girl suffered an injury to a limb. Doctors examined the child, provided treatment and said she would continue recovering at home.

Another woman was injured during a Russian drone attack on the territory of the Sumy hromada. She was in an open area when the UAV was shot down.

In the Trostianets hromada, two women were injured when a Russian drone struck a vehicle.

In Znob-Novhorodske hromada, a Russian drone hit a civilian car on a road. The driver was injured.

In the Velyka Pysarivka hromada, the Russians dropped an explosive device from a drone. A local man was injured in the blast and hospitalised.
