All sporting events banned in occupied Crimea

The Russian occupation authorities in Crimea have banned all sporting events and training sessions until September for security reasons.

Details: The occupation authorities claim the decision is temporary, with the ban running until 1 September.

Specifically suspended are the educational and training process for students of sports facilities aged under 18; training and coaching sessions; mass sporting and physical education events; championships, cups and other sporting competitions.

Background: Earlier, the head of Crimea's occupation authorities ordered the suspension of the admission of children to holiday camps from 22 June to 1 September 2026.
