Mobile operator Vodafone warns of service disruptions after overnight Russian attack on Ukraine

Vodafone has reported possible disruptions to its fixed-line internet network and other services following the Russian large-scale attack on Ukraine on the night of 1-2 July.

Quote: "Dear friends, following the overnight attack, there may be disruptions to the fixed-line internet network. Temporary difficulties may occur with access to some services, including home internet, account top-ups and the contact centre."

Details: Vodafone added that its engineers have been working since the night and are doing everything they can to restore stable service as quickly as possible.

Background: On the night of 2 July, Russian forces launched a combined large-scale attack on Ukraine using 570 drones and missiles, with Kyiv as the main target. As of now, at least 13 people have been killed and 86 others have been injured in the attack on the capital.
