Details: According to the SSU, seven aircraft hangars at the Saky airbase were hit. The hangars reportedly housed Su-30SM, Su-30 and Su-24 fighter and frontline bomber aircraft.

"Early reports show that at least seven aircraft have been destroyed or damaged," the Service said.

The SSU added that this was their second strike on the Saky airbase this week.

It also said that two hangars storing Shahed attack drones and aviation equipment had been hit at the Hvardiiske military airbase.

"The Saky and Hvardiiske military airbases are among the key bases of the Russian occupation forces in Crimea. They are regularly used by tactical aircraft that launch missile and bomb strikes against Ukraine and support Russian military operations on the southern front," the Service stressed.

Background: On 1 July, the SSU said it had successfully struck the Saky military airbase in occupied Crimea, targeting the airfield's infrastructure, including hangars housing fighter aircraft.
