Ukraine's Skelia assault troops repel border breach by Russians near Kozacha Lopan – video

Skelia unit, Ukraine's 425th Separate Assault Regiment, has reported that its assault troops stopped a breach of the state border in the area of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv Oblast.

Quote: "Assault troops from the Skelia regiment repelled a breach of the state border in the area of Kozacha Lopan. Following the wiping out of enemy groups, a mop-up operation was carried out in Hraniv and the border section."

Details: The regiment added that simultaneously, strike drone units conducted strikes on Russian advance routes and its immediate rear, including in the area of Malinovka on Russian territory.

Background: On 29 June, it became known that the Russian forces, using infiltration tactics, had been crossing the border into Kharkiv Oblast and advancing towards the settlement of Kozacha Lopan, located two kilometres from the border. According to UP, the Russians had been recorded in the settlement for at least a week.
