Details: The Chornobaivka poultry farm is part of the UkrLandFarming group of companies.

The strikes sparked a major fire across the site. A significant part of the production complex has been destroyed by the fire and by explosions. Emergency services are working at the scene, while efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack and assess the full extent of the damage are ongoing.

According to early estimates provided by the company, the losses amount to hundreds of millions of US dollars.

The company also noted that the Chornobaivka poultry farm is one of the largest poultry production facilities not only in Ukraine but also in Europe.

Quote: "At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, during the occupation of Kherson Oblast, the poultry farm was completely cut off from electricity and blockaded by the occupiers. Due to the impossibility of delivering feed and maintaining operations, 4.7 million birds died.

During the occupation, Russian troops completely looted the enterprise, removed modern equipment and vehicles, and destroyed its infrastructure. After the liberation, the Ukrlandfarming Group of Companies resumed production at this facility, which is important for Ukraine's food security."
