Russian drones attack postal branch in Zaporizhzhia, killing driver

Russian drones attacked Zaporizhzhia on the evening of 3 July, damaging branch No. 7 of Nova Poshta, Ukraine's largest private delivery company. The strike killed Valerii Hafykin, a 50-year-old driver for the company.

Details: The company said it is in contact with the family of the man killed, is providing them with the necessary assistance and will take responsibility for organising the funeral.

Nova Poshta said it has restructured its logistics, so no delivery delays are expected. Customers' parcels were unharmed, and their status can be checked via the tracking feature in the Nova Poshta app.

Background: Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia had attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, a Kh-59/69 air-launched missile and 86 drones on the night of 3-4 July.
