Details: Residents of Belgorod and the surrounding region reported numerous explosions overnight. Shuvaev said the region had come under a missile attack, which damaged an unspecified "facility in Belgorod" as well as energy infrastructure.

He later reported that three people had been injured and one person killed.

Quote from Shuvaev: "...A fire broke out at one of the facilities in Belgorod, and firefighters are working to extinguish it. The energy infrastructure has once again been damaged, resulting in disruptions to electricity and water supplies in parts of Belgorod and several municipalities."

Details: According to monitoring channels, one of the targeted facilities was the Belgorod Linear Production Department of Main Gas Pipelines, where a fire broke out.

This facility is a branch of Gazprom Transgaz Moscow, a subsidiary of Gazprom. The unit is responsible for operating the region's main gas pipelines and ensuring a reliable gas supply to consumers across Belgorod Oblast.

Background: On 6 July, the deep strike units of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces successfully struck Russia's largest oil refinery, located in the city of Omsk.
