A Russian drone struck a passenger train in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on the morning of 19 July. A train conductor suffered a leg injury.

Details: Kalashnyk said that passengers and railway staff were evacuated in time thanks to the Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) monitoring team.

Early reports indicate no fatalities. The wounded conductor is receiving medical treatment.

A bus transfer to Zaporizhzhia has been arranged for passengers. Rail services are still running as normal.

Background: On 18 July, Russian forces carried out a double strike on a locomotive and passenger carriages of a train in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
