Details: Raufoglu said diplomatic sources have confirmed to him that Trump and Zelenskyy will meet on 28 July.
"The meeting marks a significant diplomatic development. The two leaders had recently met in France and Türkiye," he said.
The journalist also noted that on 23 July he asked US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about the possibility of such a meeting.
"In fact, we saw them [the Ukrainians] two weeks ago in Türkiye. I would argue we've probably met with the Ukrainians far more times than we've met with the Russian side, and I'm sure we'll meet again in the future, whenever that is. We're always open to meeting with them," Rubio replied.
