Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, non-staff adviser to the president of Ukraine, has said that many events involving arms developers are held in Ukraine, some of which carry significant risks.

Quote: "Friends, I was not there and did not plan to be at that training ground. I posted for friends on my page that I am fine, since everyone knows I often attend such events.

Dozens (if not hundreds) of such events take place. When I see risks, I do not go to the training ground."

Details: Beskrestnov listed the risks that make him refuse to attend such events:

  • lack of shelter
  • announcements posted online
  • a large number of participants
  • location within range of ballistic weapons
  • early disclosure of the event location

He also said in the comments that he plans to discuss this issue with the president of Ukraine.
