"Any form of xenophobia is unacceptable": Ukrainian ambassador comments on attack on Ukrainian couple in Wrocław
Ukraine's ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, has responded to the latest attack on Ukrainians in Poland, which took place in Wrocław.

Details: Bodnar noted that acts of violence and aggression targeting Ukrainian nationals have been on the rise in Poland recently.
He also said that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has already instructed the Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław to urgently take the necessary measures.
Bodnar stressed that each such case requires a thorough investigation and an appropriate legal assessment by Polish law enforcement agencies.
"Any manifestations of violence, xenophobia and hatred are unacceptable and have no place in a democratic society," he added.
Background:
- A 60-year-old Polish man was beaten up in Poznań on 20 July after he witnessed three men shouting insults at a young Ukrainian man and came to his defence.
- The following day, it was reported that Polish police had launched an investigation into an incident in which two 13-year-old Ukrainian girls were allegedly subjected to aggression by a local woman after she heard them speaking their language.
