Russian drone injures mother and two young children in border area of Sumy Oblast

Two young children and their mother have been injured as a result of a Russian drone attack on a residential area in the Bilopillia hromada of Sumy Oblast on the evening of 27 July. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Hryhorov said the family received the necessary medical assistance. Early reports indicate they sustained minor injuries.

The head of the administration said the family does not live in the Bilopillia hromada but had come to the border area to visit relatives.

Quote: "Security risks in hromadas located extremely close to the border remain exceptionally high. I once again urge people not to put themselves in danger and not to bring children to border hromadas."

Background: On the night of 26-27 July, five civilians were injured in Russian guided aerial bomb strikes on the Sumy hromada.
