Detonation at Khmelnytskyi training ground has ended, five soldiers are out of contact

The detonation of ammunition at the training ground of one of the military units in Khmelnytskyi has stopped. Five service members from Special Operations Forces (SOF) are out of contact.

Details: The SOF reported that, as of 19:00, the detonation of ammunition had ended.

Three SOF servicemen were injured in the incident and were taken to hospital, where they are receiving the necessary care. The fourth wounded person is a serviceman from another defence forces unit.

Contact has been lost with five SOF soldiers. Search and inspection operations are currently underway at the site.

The SOF said that they are providing all necessary information and assistance to establish the circumstances and cause of the incident.
