Security Service of Ukraine says it hits four Russian radar stations in Kuban

Long-range drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have hit four Russian radar stations in Krasnodar Krai, as well as infrastructure at three oil refineries in Bashkortostan.

Details: The Security Service said the drones hit three Podlyot-K1 radar stations and one Kasta-2E2 radar station in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.

Russian forces use these stations to detect aerial targets.

The Security Service also reported strikes on the Bashneft-UNPZ, Bashneft-Novoil and Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim companies in Ufa, located about 1,600 kilometres from Ukraine's state border.

The SSU said the combined capacity of these refineries is more than 23 million tonnes of oil a year. They produce petrol, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and other products used, among others, by the Russian armed forces.

Background: Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported strikes on infrastructure at three Russian oil refineries in Bashkortostan. The SSU said the strikes were carried out by its own units.
