Battlefield sees 259 combat clashes over past day with fiercest fighting on Pokrovsk front – Ukraine's General Staff
A total of 259 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day. Russian forces were most active on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukraine's defence forces repelled 27 Russian assaults.

Details: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian assaults over the past day. The Russians also conducted two airstrikes using four guided aerial bombs and carried out 63 artillery attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two from multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian units repelled 23 Russian attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, Izbytske and Kozacha Lopan and towards Kovalivka, Okhrimivka, Chorne, Khatnie, Mytrofanivka and Ivashchyne.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces conducted no assault operations over the past day.
On the Lyman front, Russian attempts to breach Ukrainian defences were repelled: the Russians launched 14 attacks near the settlements of Lyman, Dibrova, Ozerne and Stavky and towards Cherneshchyna, Olhivka, Shyikivka and Drobysheve.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces conducted 19 assault actions near the settlements of Zakitne, Kryva Luka and Riznykivka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Pyskunivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces carried out three attacks towards the settlements of Fedorivka Druha, Nykyforiivka and Markove.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 22 Russian attacks were recorded. The Russians conducted assault actions near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and Ivanopillia and towards Noveselivka and Novopavlivka.
The highest number of assault actions was recorded on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 27 Russian attacks. Russian forces were active near the settlements of Rodynske and Kotlyne and also conducted assaults towards Novoоleksandrivka, Toretske, Shakhove, Sofiivka, Chernihivka, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, Udachne and Novopidhorodne.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces conducted three attacks towards the settlements of Novoheorhiivka, Rybne and Piddubne.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces launched 16 attacks. They attempted to advance near the settlements of Huliaipilske, Zaliznychne and Hirke and towards Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvіtkove, Rizdvіanka, Rivne, Staroukrainka, Charivne and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian attempts to advance towards Bilohiria, Pavlivka and Plavni.
On the Prydniprovske front, Russian forces conducted no assault operations over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
