Russia destroys Toyota warehouse in Ukraine, possible supply delays expected

A spare parts and related goods warehouse belonging to Toyota-Ukraine was destroyed in a Russian attack on the night of 4-5 August.

Details: Toyota has switched to alternative logistics routes to restore supplies to its dealerships in Ukraine.
However, the company warned of possible temporary delays in deliveries of some spare parts, accessories, lubricants and other goods.
Background:
- During the strike on Kyiv on the night of 4-5 August, Russia destroyed a sorting hub belonging to Nova Poshta, Ukraine's largest private delivery company. Three employees were killed and eight others were injured.
- The Russian attack also damaged a NOVUS logistics centre and two Silpo distribution centres. Both NOVUS and Silpo are Ukraine's major supermarket and retail chains. Six employees were killed.
