Drones attack Yekaterinburg: fire breaks out at Wildberries warehouse – video

Authorities in Russia's Sverdlovsk Oblast issued a drone attack threat, while Telegram channels reported a strike on a warehouse belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries in Yekaterinburg, located nearly 2,000 km from the line of contact.

Details: Pasler issued a drone threat in the oblast in the morning. He warned that restrictions on mobile communications and internet access might be introduced.

Astra established that the Wildberries logistics complex in Yekaterinburg had been hit.

Exilenova+ also reported a fire at the warehouse, located 2,000 km from the line of contact. According to the channel, the fire broke out in the first block of the Wildberries warehouse.

Russ & Wildberries confirmed that a fire had broken out at the company's logistics facility following the attack.

Quote from RWB: "Fire crews are working at the company's logistics facility in Yekaterinburg in Sverdlovsk Oblast. A fire has broken out as a result of the attack."

Details: The company said people had been evacuated from the facility in advance. The acceptance of new deliveries has been temporarily restricted, with parcels redirected to other logistics facilities.

According to Astra, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) had earlier imposed temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft at Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg.

Background: On 4 August, Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that Ukrainian drones had attacked 15 logistics facilities belonging to Wildberries over the course of 18 days.
