Ukraine's drone chief reveals purpose of strikes on Wildberries warehouses and when they will stop

Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, has said that strikes on Wildberries logistics centres are intended to make ordinary Russians feel the consequences of the war and will continue until the network can no longer be quickly restored. Wildberries is Russia's largest online retailer.

Details: Brovdi said the loss of access to Wildberries, combined with restrictions on social media, brings the effects of the war into the daily lives of most Russians.

Details: Magyar also described Wildberries as the "war's quartermaster", meaning a "supply platform", noting that the company has a dedicated section selling goods for Russian military personnel.

Brovdi declined to tell AP how long the campaign of strikes against Wildberries will last, saying the attacks will continue "until it becomes impossible for it to recover quickly".

Background: In the same interview, Brovdi said that Russia is seeking to increase the number of ballistic missiles it can launch in a single salvo to 200.
