Russia plans large-scale attacks on Kyiv's energy infrastructure "in coming weeks" – ISW

Details: According to reports, the Kremlin plans to launch a major strike campaign against Kyiv's energy infrastructure within the coming weeks, with the aim of disrupting Ukraine's efforts to strengthen energy facilities and exploiting the fact that Ukraine still lacks sufficient ballistic missile interceptors.

Background: Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on 8 August that virtually no undamaged power stations remain in Ukraine as a result of Russian strikes.
