Air Assault Forces show offensive on Oleksandrivka front, list 26 liberated villages
Ukraine's Air Assault Forces have provided details of the offensive on the Oleksandrivka front and published a list of settlements liberated since January 2026.

Details: The Air Assault Forces said the offensive operation has been under way since 29 January and is continuing in accordance with the operational plan under unified command.
During the offensive, Ukrainian forces regained control of more than 745 sq km of territory and 26 settlements – 12 in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 10 in Donetsk Oblast and four in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Ukrainian troops also searched for and destroyed Russian forces that had infiltrated into rear areas across more than 300 sq km.
Units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces took control of the settlements of Tolstoi, Novokhatske, Hrushivske, Zirka, Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, Myrne, Tsehelne, Pryvillia, Zlahoda, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Novohryhorivka, Stepove, Kalynivske, Berezove, Novomykolaivka, Voskresenka, Oleksandrohrad and Yalta.
Units of Ukraine's Assault Forces took control of the settlements of Rybne, Maliivka, Sichneve, Ternove, Novoheorhiivka and Zaporizke.
It was stressed that the operation's success was made possible by thorough planning at the strategic, operational and tactical levels, effective staff work and intelligence gathering, continuous collection and analysis of information about Russian forces, high-quality personnel training, effective coordination of fire support and logistics, and close cooperation between all elements of the force.
Air Assault Forces units form the core of the strike group. Together with Assault Forces units and other components of Ukraine's defence forces, they successfully broke through Russian defences, overcame resistance and accomplished their assigned combat missions.
The Air Assault Forces said Ukrainian troops are continuing to build on the success of the offensive and systematically destroy the combat capabilities of the Russian occupying forces.
