President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the preparation of decisions on renewing the diplomatic team, as he says that new approaches are needed, particularly in the United States.

Quote: "We are preparing decisions within the diplomatic team – new approaches are needed in some areas, particularly in the United States. Following the relevant consultations, appointments will be made. Ukraine needs results."
Details: Zelenskyy did not specify which personnel changes are being considered or who may be appointed to the post in the US.
Background:
- On 3 August, Zelenskyy dismissed Olha Stefanishyna from the position of Ukraine's ambassador to the United States.
- On 6 August, the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure on Stefanishyna in the form of UAH 6 million (US$134,000) bail. She is suspected of illicit enrichment and false asset declarations.
- It was reported that Stefanishyna had requested the termination of her diplomatic service due to personal circumstances.
