• On 3 August, Zelenskyy dismissed Olha Stefanishyna from the position of Ukraine's ambassador to the United States.
• On 6 August, the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure on Stefanishyna in the form of UAH 6 million (US$134,000) bail. She is suspected of illicit enrichment and false asset declarations.
• It was reported that Stefanishyna had requested the termination of her diplomatic service due to personal circumstances.
