Five killed and 26 injured in Russian attacks across three Ukrainian oblasts
Five people were killed and another 26 injured in Russian attacks on Donetsk, Sumy and Kherson oblasts over the past day.

Details: One person was killed and two injured in Bylbasivka in Donetsk Oblast. Five people were injured in Kramatorsk.
A 64-year-old man was killed in the Bereza hromada in Sumy Oblast when a Russian drone struck a house. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Four people were injured when a drone struck a house in the Yampil hromada: two men aged 51 and 67, a 30-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman who suffered from shock.
A 12-year-old boy was injured when a drone struck a house in the Lebedyn hromada. A 37-year-old man was injured when a drone struck a lorry in the Shostka hromada.
A 39-year-old man who was injured on 19 August when a Russian drone struck a house also sought medical treatment separately.
Three people were killed and another 13 injured in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast. Two high-rise residential buildings, nine houses, a shopping centre, a community arts centre and cars were damaged.
In total, Russian attacks on three oblasts killed five people and injured 26.
Background: Russian forces struck a railway facility in Kyiv's Darnytsia district with a ballistic missile on the night of 21-22 August, killing a Ukrzaliznytsia employee.
