Russia significantly damages energy facilities in Odesa Oblast during attack

The Russian significantly damaged several energy facilities belonging to DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, a local branch of Ukraine's largest private energy company, during the large-scale attack on the night of 21-22 August.

Details: According to DTEK's statement, the damage to the energy facilities is significant and it will take time to restore the equipment to working order.

DTEK also added that disruptions to the operation of critical infrastructure facilities are possible.

Background: Russia attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles, Banderol loitering munitions and drones on the night of 21-22 August, with Kyiv and Odesa oblasts being the main targets.
