Russia attacks Ukraine with missiles and drones, strikes reported at more than 50 locations

Russia attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles, Banderol loitering munitions and drones on the night of 21-22 August, with Kyiv and Odesa oblasts being the main targets.

Details: Russian forces used Iskander-M and S-400 missiles, although the Air Force did not specify the number, as well as three Kh-31P/Kh-59 air-to-surface missiles.
Russia also launched an unspecified number of Banderol loitering munitions and 217 drones.
According to the Air Force, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed three Kh-31P/Kh-59 missiles, six Banderol loitering munitions and 182 drones.
Hits by aerial assets have been recorded at 41 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 12 locations.
