Two Russian drones crash in Chernihiv: two injured, air defence operating

Two people have been injured and an energy facility has been damaged as a result of a large-scale Russian drone attack on Chernihiv on 25 August. Over 30,000 customers in the Chernihiv district and Slavutych have been left without electricity.

Power engineers will inspect the equipment and begin repair work as soon as the security situation allows.

Background: Over the course of 24 August, Russian forces carried out 45 attacks on Chernihiv Oblast, injuring 38 people, including several children and teenagers.
