Russian forces struck the centre of Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast on the morning of 26 August, damaging apartment buildings and injuring two people.

Details: Liakh later reported that as of 09:00, two people are known to have been injured in the Russian airstrike on the city centre.

At least 12 apartment buildings were also damaged.

Liakh noted that one person had been killed and another five injured in the city over the previous day.
