Russia strikes gas facilities in Kharkiv and Chernihiv oblasts

Russian forces have once again attacked the facilities of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine in Kharkiv and Chernihiv oblasts.

Details: As a result of the attack, one of the company's facilities in Chernihiv Oblast was damaged. In Kharkiv Oblast, an emergency response crew came under Russian attack.

The emergency workers were on their way to respond to a call and contain an accident involving gas infrastructure. One of the crew members sustained shrapnel wounds.

Gas Networks CEO Liudmyla Kinder said the rescue worker is currently in hospital under medical supervision.

This is not the first time Russia has attacked gas distribution infrastructure and the people responsible for maintaining it and restoring it after attacks.
