Russians attack passenger train bound for Kherson with Shahed drones, people injured

The Russians attacked a passenger train heading for Kherson with Shahed drones at midday on Saturday, injuring two people.

Quote from Prokudin: "At midday, the Russians attacked a passenger train travelling to Kherson with several Shahed-type drones. Two diesel locomotives have been damaged as a result of the strikes."

Details: Prokudin initially reported that one person had been injured – a 55-year-old woman who works for the railway and was taken to hospital in moderately serious condition. She sustained shrapnel wounds to her arm, concussion, a blast injury and a closed head injury.

Kherson Oblast State Administration later reported that another person, an 18-year-old girl, had sought medical attention following the Russian drone strikes on a train travelling to Kherson. She was diagnosed with a leg injury and was prescribed outpatient care after receiving treatment.

The regional police reported that Russian Shahed drones had attacked a passenger train in Chornobaivka.

Quote from the police: "Around midday, the aggressor country's forces carried out yet another terrorist attack on civilian infrastructure and civilians in Kherson Oblast. The Russians directed Shahed-type attack drones at a passenger train in Chornobaivka.

Locomotives have been damaged and two people have been injured as a result of the attack. Twenty-one passengers and the train crew were evacuated from the scene."
