Quote: "This afternoon, an anti-landing mine exploded in the Black Sea waters off Kobleve.

Sadly, a married couple was killed in the explosion: a 43-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman.

Their 16-year-old daughter was injured and received medical assistance. She will continue treatment as an outpatient.

A 40-year-old woman was also injured and has been hospitalised in a serious condition."

Details: Reshetilov said the section of coastline where the tragedy occurred has been closed, fenced off and marked with warnings about the mine danger. However, people crossed the barrier.

Quote: "I understand people's desire to have access to the sea and the demand for the coastline in Kobleve to be reopened. But today's tragedy proves once again that no decision to reopen beaches can be made until experts confirm that it is safe to be there. The price of hasty decisions can be too high and it may have to be paid in human lives."
