Russia attacks Ivano-Frankivsk, mayor predicts more strikes on Ukraine:'s west

Russian forces attacked Ivano-Frankivsk with Shahed drones on the morning of 13 September. One person was injured and there was also damage.

Details: Martsinkiv said Russian forces hit civilian infrastructure. One person was taken to hospital.

Windows were slightly damaged in one of the city's residential districts.

The mayor noted that there was information that Russian strikes on Ukraine's west could become more frequent.

He urged residents to use shelters and reminded them that city educational institutions open their shelters at night and at weekends.

Background: Russian forces damaged a petrol station near the Yahodyn border crossing on the border with Poland in Volyn Oblast during an attack, and several lorries also caught fire.
