NATO calls Russia's firing of signal flares at Danish helicopter "irresponsible"

NATO has called it an "irresponsible act by Russia" that a Russian frigate fired signal flares towards a Danish Armed Forces helicopter in international waters near Gedser on Monday.

Details: Denmark informed its allies about the incident, during which a Russian frigate fired signal flares towards a Danish military helicopter, Hart said.
"This is another irresponsible act by Russia aimed at intimidating the allies. But Russia is not succeeding. We continue to defend our territory and continue to support Ukraine," the spokesperson noted.
