Russian strike hits factory in Zhytomyr

Russian forces have struck a foreign-owned business in Zhytomyr.

Quote: "Russia continues its campaign of terror by striking civilian infrastructure in Zhytomyr Oblast. Today, the enemy once again struck a foreign-owned business in the Zhytomyr hromada that had already been damaged in previous attacks."

Details: The facility is believed to be a factory operated by German company Kromberg & Schubert, which had been hit in a Russian attack earlier.

Quote: "Luckily, there were no fatalities or injuries this time. Emergency workers and other relevant services are currently working at the site to deal with the aftermath of the attack and document another crime by the occupiers."

For reference: Kromberg & Schubert Ukraine in Zhytomyr is a wholly foreign-owned company that manufactures electrical wiring systems for vehicles.

Background:

• On the night of 8-9 August, Russian forces struck and damaged civilian infrastructure facilities as well as a private company with German investment.
• On the night of 11-12 September Russian forces attacked the Cersanit Invest ceramics factory in Zviahel, Zhytomyr Oblast.
