Zelenskyy: We have intelligence that Russia is preparing another large-scale attack on Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said during a conversation with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham that intelligence reports indicate Russia is preparing another large-scale attack on Ukraine.

Quote: "Our intelligence is now reporting that Russia is preparing a new massive attack against Ukraine."

Details: Zelenskyy also said he had discussed "everything related to security", the protection of Ukrainians, preparations for winter and available diplomatic opportunities in detail with Burnham.

He added that there was "constant communication" with partners about finding additional means to strengthen Ukraine's air defence.

Quote: "When Ukrainians are living every day under the threat of missile and drone strikes, lifting sanctions is out of the question."

Previously: It was announced that the UK was providing £100 million (€116 million) for an air defence package for Ukraine ahead of winter, including Patriot missiles. The weapons will be supplied through the PURL mechanism, a US-NATO initiative under which European NATO allies purchase American weapons for Ukraine.

Background: Zelenskyy said that US President Donald Trump was positive about granting Ukraine licences to produce missiles for Patriot systems.
