Russia attacks Ukraine with 162 drones in one day, over 70 of them jet-powered

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 162 strike drones of various types, including 76 jet-powered UAVs, on 25 September. Ukrainian air defence forces shot down or jammed 127 drones.

Details: The Air Force said that between 07:00 and 18:30, the Russians launched 162 attack UAVs, including Gerbera, Banderol/Dan-T and other types of drones. Seventy-six of the drones were jet-powered.

Early reports indicate that air defence forces shot down or jammed 127 UAVs, including 44 jet-powered drones.

Quote: "Hits by enemy aerial weapons were recorded at 27 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at four locations.

As of 20:00, several attack drones remain in Ukrainian airspace.
