Units from Ukraine's defence forces struck a Russian drone launch site, a control point and a UAV warehouse on 4 October and on the night of 4-5 October 2026.

Quote: "In Donetsk Oblast, a Russian storage, preparation and launch site for strike UAVs was hit. The systematic targeting of such facilities is aimed at reducing the Russian forces' capacity to employ strike drones and launch attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure."

Details: In addition, a communications hub of the Russian forces was hit in Donetsk Oblast.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian forces struck a Russian control point and a UAV warehouse of the Russian forces in the area of the city of Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A Russian repair unit was also targeted in the area of the village of Liubymivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Background: Ukrainska Pravda reported that in late September, the defence forces struck a storage, preparation and launch site for Russian strike drones near Tsimbulova. Subsequently, an OSINT analyst displayed damage to the Tsimbulova drone base in Russia following an attack on the night of 30 September-1 October.
