Russian drone drops explosives in Kherson Oblast, killing man

Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone near the village of Kachkarivka in Kherson Oblast on the morning of 6 October, killing a man. A woman was also reported killed in a Russian attack on the oblast on 5 October.

Quote: "At around 10:00 on 6 October 2026, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a road near the village of Kachkarivka in Kherson Oblast. The attack killed a 44-year-old man who was outdoors."

Details: The National Police also reported that on 5 October, Russian forces shelled the village of Stanislav in Kherson Oblast with artillery. A shell struck the grounds of a house, killing a 47-year-old woman.
