Russian missiles hit cardboard and paper mill in Kyiv Oblast

Russian forces have struck the production and warehouse facilities of the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in Obukhiv, Kyiv Oblast; the missiles severely damaged the company, and production has been halted.

Details: Production and warehouse facilities suffered severe destruction, and equipment and utility lines were damaged.

Quote from KCPM: "Today, on 7 October, the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill was attacked by enemy missiles for the third time in the past six months."

Powerful explosions caused fires, with emergency services still working to extinguish them.

Quote from KCPM: "Production has currently been halted. Despite severe material losses, the main thing for us is that none of our employees, who acted in accordance with safety instructions, were injured."

The enterprise operates in the pulp and paper industry, manufacturing cardboard, corrugated packaging and sanitary and hygiene products. It is owned by the Austrian company Pulp Mill Holding GmbH.

Background: In April, the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in the city of Obukhiv, Kyiv Oblast, temporarily halted production following a Russian attack.
