Background:
- On 26 August, Artem Krykun-Trush, lawyer for the former deputy head of the President's Office Iryna Mudra – whom the court remanded in custody for 60 days with an alternative bail of UAH 20 million – stated in a comment to Suspilne that part of the bail had already been posted for her.
- On the morning of 19 August, sources told Ukrainska Pravda that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) were conducting searches as part of a special operation at premises belonging to MP Vadym Stolar, who was elected to parliament from the now-banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, and Iryna Mudra. Stolar confirmed that investigative actions were being carried out at his home and said he was cooperating with NABU.
- Later it became known that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had dismissed Iryna Mudra as deputy head of the President's Office.
- The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine remanded former MP Maksym Mykytas in custody with a possible bail of UAH 30 million (US$668,220).
- Mykytas was at the home of Iryna Mudra when the NABU and SAPO arrived to carry out searches.
