Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia kills car driver and injures three adults and two children

Five people, including two children, have been injured as a result of a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia on the evening of 8 October. Later, it was reported that the Russians had struck a car, killing the driver.

Quote from Semikin: "A few minutes ago, the enemy struck one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. Early reports indicate that two people have been injured. They have been taken to a medical facility."

Details: Semikin later added that the number of casualties had risen to five, including a child, an underage girl, a woman and two men.

The facades of nearby high-rise residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack.

Semikin also added that Russian forces had hit the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Council building with an FPV drone, striking right on the coat of arms.

"Smoke appeared after the hit, but there is no fire. No one was injured," Semikin concluded.

Updated: Later, Semikin reported a Russian strike on a moving car.

"The car caught fire. Sadly, the driver has been killed," Semikin said.
