Details: The General Staff noted that the Samara station near the settlement of Prosvet is a major hub for receiving, storing and blending crude oil. The oil is blended there to produce Urals, Russia's main export crude grade.

The General Staff also confirmed that a previous strike on 7 October destroyed four RVS-50000 storage tanks and caused a large fire at the station.

Ukraine's defence forces also struck Russian military command posts near Peremozhne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Dokuchaievsk in Donetsk Oblast on 9 October and the night of 9-10 October.

An electronic warfare station was struck near Trukhanovo in Russia's Bryansk Oblast, and a training centre for Russian army sergeants was hit near Khorly in Kherson Oblast.

"The extent of the damage is being assessed," the General Staff added.
