Trump says Zelenskyy does not want to end war and claims Russia has been fair to Ukraine
US President Donald Trump has told journalists that Chinese leader Xi Jinping has been fair to Ukraine and that Russia has been too.

Quote: "Xi Jinping has been very fair on Ukraine. He hasn't been very much involved.
Same with Russia. They haven't been nearly what they could've been.
They know I appreciate that."
Details: Trump also said it might be time for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to put someone else in charge of negotiations.
Quote: "Zelenskyy is a man that should have had this war settled a long time ago. If he would have listened to me, he would have made a much better deal a long time ago and he'd have a million people living from his side.
And to be honest, I think it's time for somebody else to negotiate on behalf of Ukraine."
Details: Trump added that, in his view, Zelenskyy does not want to end the war.
He also responded to the Ukrainian president's remark that someone had ended up "on the wrong side of history". "Zelenskyy doesn't know what he's talking about [...] We've given a lot to Ukraine. They've given nothing to us. Remember that."
Trump also said he had watched a television appearance by "a woman" who was accusing Zelenskyy, but did not identify her.
Quote: "She blamed Zelenskyy. She said, 'He's killing our men.' And the fact is, she said, and it was very poignant. She said, 'Our men are dying. Our men have no legs in many cases. You look around, they have no legs. They're in mental institutions'.
She's talking about Ukraine and she's very well known and they want to put her in prison."
