One person has been killed and another injured when Russian forces struck a residential building in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district on 21 October.

Background:
- Russian drones attacked Kyiv from the evening of 20 October and into the morning of 21 October.
- At around 07:00, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that a Russian drone had hit a 24-storey residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district at the level of the 19th floor. A fire broke out.
- Parked cars caught fire in the Desnianskyi district after a drone crashed onto them. A drone strike on a transport infrastructure facility in the Solomianskyi district caused a fire and another drone was reported to have crashed in an open area.
