Nova Poshta (Nova Post), Ukraine's largest private delivery company, whose warehouses are constantly being damaged by Russian attacks, has set up a private air defence project and has already shot down Russian attack drones.

Quote: "We are one of the few companies to have implemented this project. I don't want to disclose the figures, but we have shot down Shahed drones."

Details: Klymov stressed the importance of further developing private air defence projects, noting that businesses can take on functions that before Russia's full-scale invasion were considered the exclusive responsibility of the state.

He also believes businesses could establish their own firefighting services at their production facilities.

Klymov cited his company's experience, saying that employees put out a significant proportion of the fires caused by attacks themselves, without waiting for the State Emergency Service to arrive.

"Large businesses are now looking for fire engines in Europe so they can set up their own services. This is our property, so what's the problem? Can anyone stop me from putting out a fire myself on my own property?" Klymov said.

Background: In October, Nova Poshta opened Moldova's first parcel locker hub in Chișinău, with 624 parcel collection compartments in one location.
