Quote: "Serhii Volodymyrovych devoted many years of his life to veterinary medicine and saving animals at the clinic on Yaroslavska Street, where every day, through his work, knowledge and compassion, he helped those who cannot ask for help in words.

For his colleagues, he was part of a large team, a person who devoted himself to an important cause – preserving animals' lives and health."

Details: In the comments on the post, Serhii is remembered as a kind and friendly person and a true professional.

"Serhii Volodymyrovych treated our Liova. We would have been seeing him for a consultation tomorrow. He was such a kind-hearted and compassionate man. May he rest in peace," Vita Boiko wrote.

"I cannot believe this… On 28 October, Serhii Volodymyrovych neutered two of our dogs. I've been bringing animals to him to be neutered for years. This is horrific," Halyna Holosovska wrote.

The Happy Shore Animal Protection Society, which set up a temporary animal shelter in the Holosiivskyi district, said that right from the start Serhii had cared for the animals and treated every one of them with compassion. He joined the volunteers in walking the dogs and helping in every way.

Background: From the evening of 29 October until the morning of 30 October, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones. The strikes damaged apartment buildings, cars, a petrol station, a restaurant, a medical facility and a warehouse.
