Zelenskyy discusses upcoming Abu Dhabi meeting and air defence with Witkoff and Kushner
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a phone call with US President Donald Trump's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Details: Zelenskyy said the conversation had been very detailed and lasted an hour and a half.
"We are preparing for a trilateral format at the team level between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia – to take place in less than a week," he stated.
The president also noted that a substantive meeting had taken place in Brussels on 4 November involving the Ukrainian and US teams, the EU, France, the UK, Germany, NATO, the World Bank and representatives of the global business community. The meeting focused on Ukraine's post-war recovery. Another meeting is scheduled to take place in Brussels on 5 November to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.
"The negotiations must move forward at full throttle to bring this war to an end as quickly as possible. Ukraine is ready to take the necessary steps. Our proposals are clear, and we have given them to the American side," Zelenskyy said.
He added that air defence systems had also been discussed during the call.
"We need interceptors for Patriot systems to protect lives from Russian attacks. We must also continue working on each of the bilateral tracks with America. This applies to the Drone Deal format in particular. Ukraine is grateful to the United States for its support for Ukraine's independence, our people, and diplomatic efforts. Peace has no alternative, and postwar security guarantees must be truly cast-iron," he noted.

- Witkoff said that trilateral talks between the US, Ukraine and Russia would take place on 10-11 November in the capital of the United Arab Emirates and would focus on further steps towards peace.
